From the Times of 24 August 2013: William Anthony ARBUTHNOT-LESLIE & Sarah Alexandra WHITTINGTON The engagement is announced between William Anthony, elder son of Mr and Mrs Sebastian Arbuthnot-Leslie, of Warthill, Aberdeenshire, and Sarah Alexandra, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs Peter Whittington, of Stutton, North Yorkshire.
William Anthony (b 1982) s of Sebastian Anthony ARBUTHNOT-LESLIE (b 1954, formerly Stainton), head of the Scots gentry family of LESLIE of Warthill, Aberdeenshire, and Candida Mary Sybil WELD (b 1956), scion of that gentry family of Chideock, and of the earls of VERULAM.
Sarah Alexandra (b 1983, reg Q3 Durham) d of Peter A WHITTINGTON (?b 1955 reg Q2 Leeds) and Penelope A WILSON
