In routine checks I came across the following youtube video:

From this I think we can take it that she died in January 2023, but I have been able to find no further confirmation of the date.

She was the dau of Everard Reginald NEAVE [HAY-NEAVE from 1910] (1877 - 1951), scion of the baronets of that name (descended from 4th son of the 2nd bt) & of the HAMILTON dukes, and Amy Charlotte Paterson Balfour Hay of Leys and Randerston (1887 - 1971)   [I think this indicates she was a member of that Scots family of Ley, and so shares kinship with the TWEEDDALE marquesses and the ERROLL earls amongst others], a scion of the ELIBANK lords (g-gd of the 8th Lord, not in the male line).

She m 1stly 1940 David James Reoch RITCHIE (kia 1943), and 2ndly 1950 Ryszard HABDANK-KOLACZKOWSKI (1918 - 2005), and had issue by her second marriage, including Anita (b 1951) - married with issue.  Whilst not recorded in Debrett's I wonder if Michael is her son?

An Ancestry member tree (treat with caution) gives her date of birth as 20 Nov 1918 India, and date of death as 22 Jan 2023 Palo Alto, Santa Clara, California, US.

FindMyPast, which in many ways is now better than Ancestry, has British India Office Births & Baptisms...... Diana Hope H(e)y-Neave, birth date 20th Nov. 1918, baptised 30th Dec 1918, Bengal.

There is also a death date for a Anne Elizabeth Hay-Neave, b.1916, of 31st Aug 1919, St John's, Meerut, Bengal. Also  a birth for Griselda Nancy Hay-Neave, 22nd Nov. 1920, bapt. 26th Dec. 1920 to E R & A C Hay-Neave at Meerut, Bengal.

Diana also lost her brother, Flying Officer Peter Arundell Hay-Neave, in 1943. He was killed in an air crash in Sussex on the 11th Nov.

FMP has a Michael Roman Habdank-Kolaczkowski, b. 1984, reg. 1987 in Los Angeles (GRO Births Abroad Indices), mother's maiden name Habdank- Kolaczkowska.

Thanks for that information - that FMP holds British India Office records is news to me, and its good to get a primary source confirmation of the birth date.
