By her marriage to Hon. Christopher Layton she was mother of Diana and also of John Stephen (Kiran), who is not mentioned in this announcement.
Possibly, and this is merely speculation, only Diana was mentioned because this was the German announcement, and she seems to live in Germany. Perhaps Kiran lives in the UK?
