Adored husband of Karen, much-loved father of Sacha, Charlotte, Micky and Stephanie, dear stepfather of Andrew and Emma and treasured “Grumps” of William, Amilia, Joshua, Alby, Freddie, Penelope, Trevor, Jacob and Phoebe. Service of thanksgiving to be held at Stithians Methodist Church on 12th December at 1pm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Cornwall Air Ambulance. He was s of of Michael George [sic] BICKFORD-SMITH 1911-75 scion of that gentry family of Younghouse and Joyce Mallalleu 1910-84 d of William Henry COATES 1882- by his 1909 m reg Q3 Canterbury to Claire Annie FERRIS 1884-. He m 1^st 1971 (div 1995) Margaret (Margie) Mary b 1950 d of Lt-Cdr David VERNEY 1918-92 (s of Lt-Col Sir Ralph VERNEY 1st Bt 1879-1959) and Hon Mary Kathleen BOSCAWEN 1926-2018 d of 8th Viscount FALMOUTH 1887-1962, and had a son and three daus.
