son & heir of John Peter Grant, styled Lord Huntingtower (b 1946), by
his wife the former Wendy Philippa Chance, and Dr Daisy S.Z. de
Ferranti, daughter of Mr and Mrs Mark de Ferranti, of North Wales.

James's father is son and heir of the Countess of Dysart, b 1 Jun 1918
(Earl, Scot. 1643).
