From the Telegraph of 13 Sept 2022: ADLINGTON Michael John Blacker died peacefully at home on Thursday 1st September, aged 86. Husband of Susannah and father of Mark and Hugh. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at 12 noon on 29th September at St Mary’s Church, Upper Froyle... Charitable donations to Shelter in lieu of flowers please.
He was s of Eric Noel ADLINGTON 1907-89 of Elstree, Herts by his 1934 m reg Q3 Somerset to Betty Isabel Blacker MORGAN 1912-2013. He m 1964 Sussanah Kirsten b 1941 d of Lt-Col Hugh David MacEwen BARTON CBE 1911-89 scion of that Irish gentry family cos Donegal &c, by his 1937 m (Kiangsu, China) to Rose-Marie 1913-2010 d of Vilhelm Octavius MEYER 1878-1935 of Shanghai & Copenhagen and Kirsten Ottillie Marie BRAMSEN 1884-1934, and had two sons as above.
