From the Telegraph of 28 March 2022: SMITH Moira Rose Macdougall, Lady Smith, died peacefully on 24th March 2022, aged 91, constant wife for 68 years of Robert, mother of Nigel (1956-1971), Lorna, Christopher and Rosalind, with eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Much missed by them all. Funeral service at Little Dunkeld Church on Thursday 7th April at 11.00 am.
She was d of Wilfred Hugh MACDOUGALL1888-1947 of Glasgow by his 1922 m ref 644/11 425 Anderston to Rose Edith WEST 1892-. She m 1954 Sir Robert Courtney SMITH CBE b 1927 and had two sons and two daus as above. Their surviving son Christopher Hugh Courtney SMITH b 1961 m 1990 Charlotte Elizabeth b 1963 d of Hector Robert KERR-SMILEY 1937-2021 (gt gs of Sir Hugh Dunstan SMILEY 1st Bt 1841-1909 and 2xgt gs of 1st Baron TOLLEMACHE 1806-90)
