Exactly who is Henry Allsopp and how is related (if at all) to any
peerage family?

He is said to be dating/hosting/helping out etc. Courtney Love. The
Post describes him as the "godson of Camilla Parker Bowles and (he)
will eventually be a lord." (The article begins "Could she someday be
Lady Courtney Love?")

I searched Burke's and couldn't find any Allsopps at all. Any ideas?

Thanks.

The Allsopps are Barons Hindlip. "Henry Allsopp" is presumably the
Hon. Henry William Allsopp, born 8th June 1973 and eldest son and heir
of the 6th Baron.

He's also the younger brother of 'Location, Location, Location's'
Kirsty Allsopp.

Lord Hindlip's family? E.g. Hon Kirstie, TV Presenter.
Don't know about Henry though.

Old Staffordshire family, some cadet branch intermarriage with my own.

Are you sure they were from an old Staffordshire family? They were
brewers...Derbyshire surely.

Sorry. Cancel last comment concerning brewers. I do think however that
they originally come from Derbyshire; the full Hindlip title is Baron
Hindlip, of Hindlip in the County of Worcester and of Alsop-en-le-Dale
in the County of Derby,

I stand corrected. Some branches clearly lingered in Staffordshire on
their way to Worcestershire.

JWP - Worcester.
