From the Telegtraph & Times of 14 Jan 2024: KNUTSFORD Michael Holland-Hibbert, 6th Viscount, died peacefully at home on 3rd January, aged 98. Devoted husband to the late Sheila, much loved father to Lucy, Henry and James, grandfather and great grandfather. Family cremation. Thanksgiving Service at 12 noon on Wednesday 19th March 2025 at St John the Baptist Church, Aldenham, Hertfordshire... No flowers please.

He was s of Hon Wilfrid Knutsford HOLLAND-HIBBERT 1893-1961 (s of 3^rd Viscount KNUTSFORD 1855-1935) and Isabel Audrey 1894-1987  d of Mark FENWICK c1861-1945 and Mary Sophia d 1924 d of Nathaniel George CLAYTON 1833-95 and Isabel OGLE (gd of Adm Sir Charles OGLE 2^nd Bt). He m 1951 Hon Sheila Constance PORTMAN 1927-2018 d of 5th Viscount PORTMAN 1898-1942 and Hon Sybil Mary DOUGLAS-PENNANT 1901-75 d of 3rd Baron PENRHYN 1864-1927 and Hon Blanche Georgiana FITZROY 1865-1944 d of 3rd Baron SOUTHAMPTON 1804-72 and Hon Ismania Catherine NUGENT 1838-1918 d of 1^st Baron NUGENT d 1864 and Georgiana Elizabeth c1811-87 d of Sir Charles JENKINSON 10^th Bt 1779-1855, and had two sons and a dau. His elder son succeeds him.

HENRY THURSTAN Holland-Hibbert 7^th Viscount has yet to establish his claim, b 6 April 1959: m 1988 Katherine b 1964 d of Sir John Bruce Woollacott ROPNER 2nd Bt 1937-2016 and his 1st w Anne Melicent Delme b 1941 d of Sir Ralph Hubert John DELME-RADCLIFFE 1877-1963 sometime head of that gentry family of Hitchin Priory (and gt gs of 1^st Earl of HARROWBY 1762-1847, etc etc) and Elisabeth Ffennell 1899-1980 d of Sir Hugh LEVICK KBE 1870-1937, and had issue

Sir Henry Thurstan Holland-Hibbert is now entered on the Official Roll of the Baronetage as 8th Baronet Holland-Hibbert, formerly Holland, of Sandlebridge.  He is not stated to be also the 7th Viscount Knutsford so his application to be be recognised as having succeeded to the viscountcy may not yet be complete though I understand it is imminent.

The College of Arms website now confirms that the Secretary of State for Justice has approved the succession of Henry Thurstan Holland-Hibbert to the Viscountcy of Knutsford in the peerage of the United Kingdom
