Rupert Bridgman & Henrietta Soames: The engagement is announced beetween Rupert Clive, of the late Timothy Bridgman and of Mrs Bridgman of Overton, Hampshire, and Henrietta Louise, daughter of Mr and Mrs Michael Soames of Aldworth, Berkshire.
Rupert Clive (b ?Papua, New Guinea) s of Timothy Clive BRIDGMAN (b 1946, reg Macclesfield, Cheshire, sometime of Papua, New Guinea) s of John Clive Bridgman (d before October 1975) of Prestbury, Cheshire and Dorothy RHODES, and Hilary Anne d of Dr Stewart REYNOLDS of Barnet, Herts.
Henrietta Louise (b 1985) d of Michael Sidney SOAMES (s of Cmdr W J SOAMES RN of Merfield House, Rode, Somerset - no known connection to the SOAMES gentry family of Hamsell Manor formerly of Sheffield Park, whose Head married into the MARLBOROUGH family), and Fiona Eve (b 1959) d of David John CAPRON (b 1931, scion of that gentry family of Southwick Hall and, through his mother, of the HAY of Park Bts - the 77 year old unm present & 11th Bt has no heir) and Deirdre DRING (b 1926, scion of that Irish gentry family.of co Tipperary).
