Rodney (Rod) William Cudmore, aged 67, died on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the North Okanagan Hospice Society in Vernon, BC following a brief battle with lung cancer.

Rod was born in Comox, BC and grew up around the Lower Mainland. Rod was an avid outdoorsman spending time with his family camping, hiking and kayaking. He was very involved with Boy Scouts throughout his life and was committed to supporting his sons in all their achievements in scouting.

Rod is remembered by his wife Lenora, sons Mark and Joel, daughters-in-law Jennifer and Cora-Lee, grandchildren Ava, Eli and Nathan and siblings Don, Rick and Diane and their children. Rod made a deep impression on everyone he encountered in his work, community and family life and will be dearly missed by all.

He was the son of Walter H CUDMORE by his 1947 m (div 1974) to Josephine Lyndall ST JOHN (1925 - ? [she is omitted from DB online which I think means they know her to be deceased]), scion of the ST JOHN OF BLETSO barons (descended from the 2nd son of the 10th baron).

He m Lenora Marie DIXON, and had issue as above (issue was not known to Debrett's 2008 print edition)
