From the Telegraph of 22 October 2019: GUINNESS Robin Arthur passed away peacefully at home on 17th October 2019, aged 94. Husband of the late Judith (nee Hare). Father to Andrew and Alina and grandfather to Tristan, Saska, Nialls, Taigan and Toby. Funeral service at St Edmund, Hardingstone on Saturday 2nd November at 1:15 p.m.Family flowers only. He was s of John Cecil Cope Jenkinson GUINNESS (1890-1970), scion of the GUINNESS Bts cr 1867, and Betty Knowles (1902-76) d of Arthur Knowles DAVIES (1864-1941) by his 1901 m (reg Q2 Devon) to Ethel Mary CIRCUITT (1873-1962). He m 1952 Judith Anne (1925-86) d of Clifford Pitts HARE (1881-1958) of Scarcroft Manor, Thorner, Yorkshire by his 1913 m (reg Q2 Yorkshire) to Martha Annie SYKES (1890-1986), and had a son and a dau as above.

The word "scion" has a broad meaning here. He descended from Samuel Guinness (d.1795), whose brother was grandfather of the 1st Guinness Baronet. However, Burke's has chosen to include his line in its article on that title.

Robin Arthur's great-grandmother, though, Katherine Frances Jenkinson, was daughter of the 10th Jenkinson Baronet.
