Ogilvie-Thompson/van Ees engagement...

The engagement was announced 28 January, 2005, between Anthony Thomas
Ogilvie-Thompson (b. 1964), son of Mr Julian Ogilvie-Thompson, by his
wife the former Hon. Tessa Mary Brand (b. 1934), of Johannesburg, South
Africa, & Iliane E. van Ees, daughter of Mr Erik van Ees and Mrs Setna
van Ees, of Cape Town.

Anthony is a grandson maternally of the 4th Viscount Hampden (who was
also Baron Dacre) CMG (1900-1965), by his wife Leila Seely (of the
Seely Bts), and his mother was a co-heiress to the Barony of Dacre
(which fell into abeyance in 1965), and this abeyance was terminated,
in 1970, in favour of his mother's elder sister, Rachel Leila, now
Baroness Dacre.
