From the Telegraph of 6 March 2026: MCCLURE Alastair. Beloved son of Ian and Lydia, died peacefully on 19th February 2026 at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth aged 51 after a short illness. Dear brother of Henrietta and adored father to Jazmin and Pacha. Funeral at Ermington Church at 11 a.m. on 20th March. Please wear bright colours. Family flowers only.

He was the only s of Lt Ian A M MCCLURE RN 1943-2001 and Lydia Wilbraham b 1947 d of Lt-Col John Aylmer CHRISTIE-MILLER CBE TD 1911-2007 scion of that gentry family of Clarendon Park and Bridget Wilbraham DIXON 1918-92 (gd of Edward Wilbraham DIXON 1860-1936 bro of Sir George DIXON 1st Bt 1842-1924). According to peerage dot com he m 2005 Meg CONNOLLY.
