She was the d of Cdr Terence Brinsley John Danvers BUTLER RN (1913-1987), scion of the extinct Earls of Lanesborough, being the son of the 3rd s of the 6th Earl, and his 1st w (m 1937, div 1947) Hermione WILLIAMS.  She m (1) 1964 (div 1973) Arthur Clyde NICHOLSON  and had a dau Felicity b 1969 (not mentioned in the notice) and (2) 1975 Desmond WATERSTONE  and had 2 s as above
