Mark A Bullough is the third son of Alaisdhair Tom Robertson BULLOUGH (1926 -18 XII 2004) and his wife (married c.1951), June Nora ASHBY (1925 - 22 I 2018). Alaisdhair Bullough was himself the younger son of Tom Guy BULLOUGH (5 XI 1899 - 1 VII 1934) and his wife (married 18 I 1922), Marjorie Alexina CHINNERY-HALDANE (died 17 II 1971), of that landed gentry family.

 

Tom Guy Bullough was the younger son of Tom BULLOUGH (1858 - 10 III 1915) and his wife (married 1891), Jessie Wilhelmina ROBERTSON (15 VI 1863 - 1952). This latter Tom Bullough was a first cousin of Sir George BULLOUGH, 1st and last Bt (28 II 1870 - 26 VII 1939).

 

Mark Bullough's youngest brother, Hamish A BULLOUGH (born 1958), was married in 1989 to Emma Jocelyn Cressida Myfanwy HARDY (born 9 XI 1963), the elder daughter of the late actor (Timothy Sydney) Robert HARDY, CBE, FSA (29 X 1925 - 3 VIII 2017) and his second wife (married 15 VI 1961, divorced 1986), Sally PEARSON (born 10 XII 1930), the daughter of Sir Neville Arthur PEARSON, 2nd and last Bt (13 II 1898 - 6 XI 1982) and his second wife (married 15 VI 1928, as her second husband, divorced 1937), the actress, Dame Gladys Constance COOPER, DBE (18 XII 1888 - 17 XI 1971).

 

Robert Hardy was the youngest son of Maj Henry Harrison HARDY, MBE (2 I 1882 - 24 XII 1958) and his second wife (married 4 XI 1917), Edith Jocelyn DUGDALE (25 VII 1893 - 28 XII 1977), the second daughter of the Rev Sydney DUGDALE (23 IV 1860 - 10  II 1942), of that landed gentry family, of Wroxall Abbey, Warwickshire, and his first wife (married 28 IV 1886), Edith MARSHALL (1860 - 11 XI 1903). Through his mother, Robert Hardy was a third cousin once removed downwards of Thomas Lionel DUGDALE, 1st Baron Crathorne, TD, PC (20 VII 1897 - 26 III 1977).
