_. Major Bryan Henry Fitzherbert Wright, late The Blues & Royals, who died 29 July, 2016, on the Isle of Scilly, was a scion of the Wrights of Yeldersley landed family, and an uncle of Sarah Duchess of York.

He was b 17 July, 1934, son of Fitzherbert Wright (d 1975), by his wife the former Hon Doreen Julia Wingfield (1904-91), scion of the Viscounts Powerscourt. His sister, Susan (1937-98), was wife of Maj Ronald Ferguson, and mother of Sarah Duchess of York &c.
