_.The engagement was announced 6 Dec, 2012, between the Hon Edward Geoffrey Richard Sackville (b 6 Dec, 1980), second son of William Herbrand (Sackville) 11th Earl De La Warr (b 10 Apr, 1948), of Buckhurst Park, Sussex, by his wife the former Anne Leveson; & Sophia Georgina M. Akroyd (b 1984), daughter of the late Mr Mark T.S. Akroyd, by his wife the former Camilla E.L. Milton, now Mrs Christian Dangerfield, of Pencombe, Herefordshire.

The marriage took place on 6th April 2013 at the Church of St Michael and All Angels, Bodenham, between the Hon Edward Sackville, younger son of The Earl and Countess De La Warr, and Miss Sophia Akroyd, only daughter of the late Mr Mark Akroyd and of Mrs Christian Dangerfield. The bride was attended by Iris Goldsmith, Edith Gill, Grace Lawson Johnston, Sylvia Rice, Bertie Donald and Isaac Gill. The best men were Mr Alexander Spencer Churchill and Mr Iain Russell. The service was conducted by the Rev Prebendary Bill Massey assisted by the Rev Christopher Fletcher
