From the Telegraph of 22 November 2014: EARDLEY-WILMOT Sir Michael John Assheton Bt, died peacefully on 15th November 2014, aged 73. Fun loving, kind hearted and greatly missed father of Ben, Holly, Guy and Poppy. His Funeral is on Wednesday 26th November, 12.30 p.m. at.—St John Baptist Church, Berkswell, for family and friends. No flowers. Donations to be made to Diabetes UK
He was s of Col Sir John Assheton EARDLEY-WILMOT LVO DSC RN 5th Bt (1917-95) and his cousin Diana Elizabeth MOORE. He m 1st 1971 (div 1985) Wendy Alyson d of Anthony John WOLSTENHOLME and had two sons and a dau. He m 2nd 1987 Diana Margaret d of Robert Graham WALLIS and had a further dau. His eldest son succeeds him:
Sir Benjamin John EARDLEY-WILMOT 7th Bt (b 1974), has yet to establish his claim and appear on the The Official Roll of the Baronetage. He m 2009 Clementine Daisy d of Andrew LANGTON of London and has a son:
