_.  Patricia Viscountess Trenchard, who died 22 January, 2016, aged 90, was the widow of the 2nd Viscount Trenchard, MC (1923-87) (Peerage of the UK, cr 1936)

She was the former Patricia Scott Bailey, daughter of Admiral Sir Sidney Robert Bailey, KBE, CB, DSO, and married the then Hon Thomas Trenchard in 1948. Her husband succeeded to the viscountcy in 1956, and died in 1987.

Lady Trenchard leaves two sons, Hugh, the 3rd Viscount, and the Hon John Trenchard.
