From the Telegraph of 15 Jan 2022: HOPE Michael Richard, Baron
Rankeillour. Died peacefully on 10th January after a short illness, aged
81. Much loved father of Hettie, Louisa and James, brother of Simon
and Meg, grandfather of Freddie, Archie, Charlie and Charlotte.
Funeral to be held at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday 26th January at St Benet’s
RC, Beccles...
He was s of Hon Richard Ferderick HOPE 1901-64 (yst s of 1st Baron RANKEILLOUR 1870-1949) and Helen Sybil Mary 1912-71 d of Alfred Charlemagne LAMBART 1861-1943 (gs of 7th Earl of CAVAN 1763-1837) and his former w Constance GREEN d 1948. He m 1964 Elizabeth Rosemary c1938-2019 d of Col Francis Henry FULLER of Wickhambrook, Newmarket, Suffolk, and had a son & two daus as above. His son succeeds him:
JAMES FRANCIS HOPE b 5 Aug 1968 [6th] Baron RANKEILLOUR has yet to establish his claim and appear on The Peerage Roll. He m 1999 Felicity A d of David GALLIMORE, and had a son.

Hon CHARLIE JAMES Hope b 11 Feb 2003, ha, unm.
The only other heir to the title is the new Baron's unm uncle Simon James HOPE b 1941.
