He m 1974 Jane Mary b 1942 reg Q4 London d of Lt-Col Ralph Capel STOCKLEY 1916-ka1944 by his 1940 m to Pamela Katharine 1918-2004 d of Hon Thomas Henry Frederick EGERTON 1876-1953 (s of 3^rd Earl of ELLESMERE 1847-1914 (who was gf of 6^th Duke of SUTHERLAND 1915-2000), gs of 2^nd Marquess of NORMANBY 1819-90, gt gs of 1^st Earl CAWDOR 1790-1860, etc etc) and Lady Bertha ANSON 1879-1959 d of 3^rd Earl of LICHFIELD by his wife a dau of 2^nd Earl of LEICESTER 1822-1909, etc, and had two sons:
