Debrett's online records a 2nd marriage of Hon James Robert NAPIER (born 1966), heir apparent to the NAPIER OF MAGDALA barony, in 2013 to Katherine Elizabeth BARLOW.  It also show a dau, Lyla H, born 2016.

GRO checks indicate she was born Q2 2016 Southampton.

Further checks reveal a likely son for the couple: Harry Thomas NAPIER, born Q3 2014 Southampton.  If correct, he is the heir in line.

Significantly this title is short on young heirs, with James being the youngest heir previously known.  There are other heirs born 1947, 1953, 1936.

Judging by their history, it may take some time before we find out from Debrett's.

Hi Richard.

I realized he wouldn't have his own entry.   I was hoping that maybe it would include such information (number of sons and daughters) when he was listed as the heir to the Napier of Magdala barony.

DPB online now states simply that Hon James Robert Napier is "married and has living issue"  - Mr Napier presumably now wishes the identity of his family to be a private matter
