She was born Hon. Isabel Cynthia Monckton-Arundell, 3rd and yst
daughter of the 8th Viscount Galway (1882-1943). Her brother was the
9th Viscount Galway (1929-1971) who married the surviving child of the
7th Earl of Ilchester (descended from the politician Henry Fox's
brother), who left his estate to his daughter Hon Charlotte Monckton-
Arundell (b. 1955)
Lord and Lady King of Wartnaby met while out hunting. She married
Lord King of Wartnaby (29 August 1917 - 12 July 2005) in 1970, the
year after the death of his first wife Lorna Sykes (md 1941, she died
1969), by whom he had four children, three sons and one daughter. The
second marriage lasted 35 years but produced no issue. He was made a
Life Peer in 1983 by Margaret Thatcher

Obits for Lord King of Wartnaby
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/obituaries/lord-king-of-wartnaby-498571.html
"His second marriage, to the Hon Isabel Monckton, brought him both
happiness and a position in the orbit of the Royal Family - his wife
taught gardening to the Prince of Wales."
Fascinating obit from the Independent - he married his first boss's
daughter, had an interesting family background (product of a mixed-
marriage and of a humble social background)
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/1493872/Lord-King-of-Wartnaby.html
Daily Telegraph obit provides more details on Lord King's parents -
father an Army Sergeant, etc., but less interesting overall than the
Independent IMHO
http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2005/jul/13/britishairways.obituaries
which gives his parents's names but no details on their religion or
rank or occupation/ work profile!
