She was d of Sir Arthur MASSEY CBE (1894-1980) and Dorothy Blanche Ince 1906-83 d of Rev Henry Holditch Thomas CLEIFE 1849-1914 by his 1905 m reg Q2 London to Blanche Marie INCE. She m 1952 Sir Charles Robert ROWLEY 8th & 7th Bt 1926-2008, and had a son (the present Bt) and a dau.
