From the Telegraph of 6 December 2017: GODWIN-AUSTEN  Richard, died on 3rd December, aged 82. Loving husband of Sally, father of Jonathan and Alice and beloved stepfather and grandfather. Private funeral. No flowers. Memorial Service to follow in the Spring.

He was s of Robert Annesley GODWIN-AUSTEN (1885-1977), scion of the gentry family of that name of Pirbright Manor, and Kathleen Beryl (1901-95) d of Arthur ODLING (c1847-1937) of London NW3 and Elizabeth Lucy MORGAN (c1864-1905). He m 1st 1961 (reg Q3 London) Jennifer Jane (b c1937) d of Luis Sigismund HIMELY (1906-84) of Bovey Tracey, Devon and Christine Mary DOUGLAS (1908-90), and had a son and a dau:
