Lord Castlereigh is stated on wikipedia to be the heir apparent to
Lord Londonderry.
Yet he is Georgie Fame's son.
How come he is the h.a.?

I know that there was an earlier Viscount Castlereigh (James) from
the first marriage who proved not to be the issue of the current
marquis, Wiki doesn't show James as being the heir.

Debrett's shows FREDERICK AUBREY (Viscount Castlereagh), born 6 Sept
1972 as ha, son to the present Marquess and his 2nd wife (div in
1989), after tests proved that the child from the 1st marriage, styled
Viscount Castlereagh prior to the tests, was not in fact the
marquess's son.

Wikipedia (not wiki which is a particular word) said under Alexander
Vane-Tempest-Stewart, 9th Marquess of Londonderry that James was
styled Viscount Castlereigh. I have corrected the entry.

What was the surname of Lady Sophia and who was her father and what

Wonders if James still uses the same surname and if he married. Its
noted that his biological father was Robin Douglas-Home.

Lady Sophia Frances Anne Vane-Tempest-Stewart (b. 23 Feb 1959), mar.
1967 Jonathan Mark Pilkington, son of Ronald Charles Leslie
Pilkington.
Lady Cosima Maria-Gabriella Vane-Tempest-Stewart (b. 25 Dec 1961),
mar. 1st 1 Oct 1982 (div. 1986) Cosmo Fry, son of Jeremy Fry, of Bath,
and 2nd 1990 (div. 1996) Lord John Robert Somerset, 3rd son by his
first wife of David Robert Somerset, 11th Duke of Beaufort, and has
issue by her second husband

(Thank you Patrick Cracroft-Brennan)

As far as I know, both are daughters of Alexander Charles Robert Vane-
Tempest-Stewart, 9th Marquess of Londonderry, but I'm happy to be
corrected...

Lady Cosima Somerset has talked and written publicly about discovering
that her natural father was Robin Douglas-Home, and my information is
that Alastair Londonderry raised her as his own daughter and that they
have a good relationship.

Oh this is correct, Lady Cosima has clearly stated this. I forgot
about that.

How did Lady Sophia die?
Does Cosima now call herself Lady John Somerset? They are divorced.
Surely she is not Lady Cosima Somerset?

Despite the dubious parentage of the girls they remain officially daughters of Lord Londononderry.

That's surely an erroneous report, a quick Google reveals no reference
to her death and further I found a picture of her with the Marchioness
of Worcester in 2005!

I have to say; pace wiki, I couldn't find any reference to her death,
hence my post.
