From the Telegraph of 19 Aug 2024: SAWYER Di 'Daisy' Margaret Frances Mulvagh (née Harte). Died peacefully at home on 7th August 2024, aged 93. Beloved wife of the late Roger, adored mother of Charles and Rupert, and grandmother to Serena, Catherine and Marianna. Funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Bembridge, on 6th September. No flowers but donations, if desired, to Mountbatten Hospice or RNLI c/o Weaver Brothers, Bembridge, IOW….

She m 1952 reg Q3 Cheltenham Roger Martyn SAWYER 1931-2020 of Bembridge, Isle of Wight and had two sons as above. Their yr son Rupert Shenton Harte b Dec 1961 m 1998 Arabella Rosemary Louise b 1966 d of Richard Hugh Jordan STEEL 1932-(April)2018 (s of Sir Christopher Eden STEEL GCMG MVO 1903-73 and Catherine CLIVE 1907-85 scion of that gentry family of Perrystone, and dau of Madeline BUXTON d 1957 gd of Sir Edward North BUXTON 2nd Bt 1812-58 as well gd of 1st Baron LAWRENCE 1811-79, etc) and Lady Rosemary Verena Edith VILLIERS 1935-(Feb)2018 d of George Herbert Arthur Edward Hyde VILLIERS Lord Hyde 1906-35 (s&ha of 6th Earl of CLARENDON 1877-1955 and father of the 7th Earl) and Hon Marion Feodorovna Louise GLYN DCVO 1900-70 d of 4th Baron WOLVERTON 1864-1932 and Lady Edith Amelia WARD CBE 1872-1956 d of 1st Earl of DUDLEY 1817-75, etc, and had a son and two daus as above.
