Walter "Robin" Maynard, 1932-2024

Walter "Robin" Maynard, descendant of Lords Fermoy, died in East Hampton, Long Island, New York on May 3, 2024. Born in New York, N.Y., Nov. 14, 1932, he was a great-grandchild of American heiress Frances Work and her first husband, James Boothby Burke Roche, later 3rd Baron Fermoy, making him a second cousin of Diana, Princess of Wales. Survivors include his wife Jane, daughter Audrey, son Walter Alexander; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother John; and three Platt nephews, one of whom is the actor Oliver Platt.
