With all of the talk of the age of some of the members of the Royal Family, they are still younger than several hereditary peers.

Here are just the  10 oldest living hereditary peers & their DOB's:

Lord Saye & Sele--- Sep. 22, 1920 (will be 102 in 3 days)
Earl of Elgin & Kincardine-- Feb 17, 1924 (age 98)
Baron Walsingham-- Feb 21, 1925 (age 97)
Marquess of Ailesbury-- March 31, 1926 (age 96)
Earl of Airlie-- May 17, 1926 (age 96)
Viscount Knutsford-- Dec. 27, 1926 (will turn 96)
Earl of Crawford & Balcarres -- March 5, 1927 (age 95)
Baron Gisborough-- July 1, 1927 (age 95)
Earl of Donoughmore-- Aug 8, 1927 (age 95)
Viscount Tenby-- Nov 7, 1927 (will turn 95 )

They are all older of the Kent's but none of them is expected to march. That was my point about the Kent's, even in their 80s they are giving their best.

I noticed that the Earl of Airlie was wearing an eye patch in Westminster Abbey yesterday.  I saw him in Edinburgh last week, sadly his face looked like he had had a stroke.  He looked very frail.
