According to a note I found in social media, he died 1 May 2020. A memorial service was held 21 May 2022.

The eldest of his 3 sons, Douglas James, heir presumptive emigrated to Italy in 2012.

Second son, David Angus, is shown as single.

Third son, Robert (Bob) Cameron, married with 2 daus.  Cannot locate births in GRO.  Is it possible that he is no longer married to Natalie HEAP as in Debrett's online?

Daughter, Judith (Judy) Elizabeth m 2008 Wayne HALLAM and has at least one dau, b 2010

There is a clear indication on Sandra KIRKWOOD (widow of David) of a granddau, Abigail Florence K. born 2018, but I cannot work out which of the children she is the dau of.

ABIGAIL and MARTHA Kirkwood are both daughters of the youngest child; Robert (Bob) Cameron, from his second marriage to Bobbi (yes they really are named Bob & Bobbi Kirkwood). David Angus is due to have a son in March and is hoping that his partner is able to hold it in until the 26th - the birth date of his father, David Kirkwood 1945'2020.
