From the Times of 3 Dec 2021: WIGRAM Sylvia Mary (née Barstow) died peacefully on 24th November 2021, aged 95. Much-loved wife of the late Peter, mother of Clare, Caroline and John and grandmother of Charlotte, Matthew, Jamie, Harry and Ben. Funeral at 1.30pm on 14th December at St Mary’s and All Saints Church, Beaconsfield. Family flowers only, please; donations to RSPB.
She was d of Rev John Smithson BARSTOW 1882-1961 of Woolsthorpe by Belvoir, Lincs by his 1920 m reg Q3 Yorks to Mary Beatrice KENNY 1890-1976. She m 1953 Peter Woolmore WIGRAM 1913-98 (2xgt gs of Sir Robert WIGRAM 1st Bt 1743-1830) and had a son (Sir John Woolmore WIGRAM 9th Bt b 1955) and two daus.
