She was d of Maj John Patrick McGILLYCUDDY (The McGillycuddy of the Reeks) 1909-59 of that Irish gentry family and Elizabeth Margaret 1910-2011 d of Maj John Ellison OTTO 1872-1952 of Astrop Grange, King's Sutton, Banbury, Oxford by his 1909 m reg Q2 Hereford to Veronica 1881-1960 d of Sir James RANKIN 1^st Bt 1842-1915 and Annie Laura c1843-1906 d of Christopher BUSHELL 1810-87 and his 2^nd w Margaret Smith EASTON 1820-1906. She never married.
