From the Telegraph of 16 Nov 2022: CAMPBELL OF AIRDS Alastair Lorne Campbell of Airds died peacefully on Thursday 10th November 2022, aged 85. Beloved husband of Mary Ann, father to Johnny, Lucy, Jamie and Hugh and grandfather to seven grandchildren. Funeral will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday 22nd November in St John’s Cathedral, Oban. Family flowers only please.

He was s of Brig Lorne Maclaine CAMPBELL OF AIRDS VC DSO OBE TD 1902-91 head of that Scots gentry family of Airds & sometime Unicorn Pursuivant of Arms and Amy Muriel Jordan 1905-50 d of Alastair Magnus CAMPBELL of Auchendarroch 1868-1930 and Lilias Mary ROBERTSON-GLASGOW 1871-98 scion of that Scots gentry family f/o Montgreenan. He m 1960 Mary Ann b 1940 d of Lt-Col George Patrick CAMPBELL-PRESTON MBE 1911-60 scion of that Scots gentry family of Ardchattan and Dame Frances Olivia GRENFELL DCVO b 1918 (sometime Woman of the Bedchamber to The QUEEN MOTHER, gt gd of Pascoe St Leger GRENFELL 1798-1879 f of 1st Baron GRENFELL 1841-1925 and gt gd of 4th Baron LYTTELTON 1817-76 f of 8th Viscount COBHAM 1842-1922), and had three sons (incl JOHN PATRICK b 1961 who succ. his father as 14th of Airds and is m with three sons) and a dau as above.

I beleive that Amy Muriel Jordan Campbell's mother was in fact the second wife of Alastair Magnus Campbell. He married Evelyn Sanderson in 1905 after the death of his first wife Lilias Mary Robertston-Glasgow in 1898.
