From the Times of 28 Aug 2025: KENWORTHY-BROWNE Sister Christina (Cecilia) CJ died peacefully on 13th August 2025, aged 96, in York. Much-respected headteacher, congregation bursar and archivist in the Congregation of Jesus. All welcome to her funeral Mass at the Bar Convent, York, at 2pm on Tuesday 2nd September.

She was the only d of Bernard Evelyn Kenworthy KENWORTHY-BROWNE 1889-1979 sometime head of that gentry family f/o Wellbury and Margaret Sybilla 1892-1985 d of Sir (Albert) George HADCOCK KBE 1861-1936 and Sybilla 1866-1952 d of Gen John Wood RIDEOT 1827-1904 and Amy Ledwell TAYLOR 1830-1910. She never married.
