From the Times of 6 Jan 2023: CHILD-VILLIERS Edward JOHN Mansel died on 31st December 2022, aged 87. Beloved husband of Celia, proud father of Alex and Roddy, daughter-in-law Kathie and his grandchildren Freddie, his wife Tegan, and William and Celia.

He was s of Hon Edward Mansel CHILD-VILLIERS 1913-80 (s of 8th Earl of JERSEY 1873-1923 and as her 1st h (her 2nd was Cdr William S Slessor) Lady Cynthia Almina Constance Mary NEEDHAM 1889-1947 d of 3rd Earl of KILMOREY 1842-1915) and and his 1st w (her 1st h) Mary Barbara 1914-91 d of Capt William John Goulburn Shipden FRAMPTON 1885-1919. He m 1958 Celia Elinor Vadyn b 1936 d of Cyril Hall GREEN and Elinor Joyce 1910- d of Maj Cecil Bruce BLAKE 1880-1937 (2xgt gs of Sir Walter BLAKE 10th Bt d 1802) and Effie HOWELL d 1969, and had two sons as above. His gs Frederick Mansel b 1990 appears to have m Tegan _ (not on DPB online).
