From the Times of 22 June 2013: METHUEN-CAMPBELL  Oona Cicely, died peacefully on 16th June 2013, aged 82. Much loved mother of Joanna, James, Lucinda and Catherine. Grandmother to Poppy, Angus, Gulliver, Orlando, Alex and Hamish. Great-grandmother to Luca. Funeral Service at West Chapel, Ipswich Crematorium, on 2nd July at 11.15am. Family flowers only but donations, if desired, to St Nicholas Hospice, Bury St Edmunds c/o Andrew Bingham, The Nutshell, Milton Road South, Stowmarket, Suffolk IP14 1EZ.

She was d of John Dalrymple Winn TREHERNE (1907-72), scion of that gentry family of Downash and Bowley, and Lady Sheelah Annette BROWNE (1908-2001), scion of the marquesses of SLIGO. She m 1950 (div 1973) Christopher Paul Mansel Campbell METHUEN-CAMPBELL (1928-98) and had issue, 2 daus and a son, James Paul Archibald METHUEN-CAMPBELL (b 1952, unm), heir presumptive and 1st cousin once removed to the 7th Baron METHUEN (b 1931, twice married, with two daus from his 1st m). Second in line of succession is James Methuen-Campbell's half brother, Thomas Rice Mansel METHUEN-CAMPBELL (b 1977, unm). The only other heir is uncle to the first two in line, David Archibald James METHUEN-CAMPBELL (b 1929, m with no issue).
