Just to correct what I'm sure was a slip of the keyboard, the 17th Earl of Perth died in 2002.

Marybelle Gordon, the first wife of Hon. James Reginald Drummond, was the daughter of Capt. Charles Gordon (1888-1964) and his American-born third wife, Mrs. Frances Strickland Lovell (Oldham) Rodney (1902-91), marriage registered Surrey North Eastern, 4 Q 1938. Charles Gordon and Frances divorced and she married as her 3rd husband Capt. Alwyne Arthur Compton Farquharson of Invercauld (1919-2021). Under the headline "Deeside's Wedding of the Year," the Aberdeen Evening Express of June 24, 1961 reported the marriage that day of Marybelle Gordon to Hon. James Drummond at St. Andrew's RC Church, appears to be at Braemar. The article calls her the daughter of Mrs. Farquharson and Captain Gordon. ////  Also; Charles Gordon married first (1919) Lady Myra Idina (Sackville) Wallace, divorced 1923. Lady Idina had three more husbands, including Josslyn Hay, Earl of Erroll (murdered in Kenya in 1941). Charles Gordon married second (date?) Honoria Malcolm (1895-1929), whose 1929 death due to a gunshot wound was ruled a suicide (Dundee Evening Telegraph, April 10, 1929, other newspapers). Charles and Honoria Gordon had one daughter, Lukyn, Lady Coats (born in Nairobi in 1925; died 2006).
