LAURIE Andrew Hexham Suddenly at home on 3rd September 2021, aged 76 years, Andrew dearly loved husband and best friend of Sarah, much loved father of John and Michael dear grandfather of Alexia, Calista, Rosa, Amber and Robert. Private Service and Cremation followed by a service of Thanksgiving at Hexham Abbey on Monday 20th September at 2:00pm. Family flowers only please donations in lieu of to Tynedale Hospice at Home, c/o Dodd's of Hexham NE46 2EW.

His elder son John Christopher Emilius Laurie b 1971 succeeds him as 9th baronet (UK 1834) though yet to establish his claim and be noted on the Official Roll of the Baronetage.  He is married with three daughters and resides in France (DPB 2019)

The hp is the new baronet's younger brother Michael James Edward Laurie b 1973 m 2016 Helen Frances dau of RW DOWNIE and has issue Amber Sarah b 2017 (DPG Database).  It would appear from the death notice that he also has a son Robert born since 2019 (unless of course Robert is son of new Baronet but his brother's seems more likely) - presumably the GRO births/deaths registrations for 2020 will come online soon?
