The Hon Mrs Jeremy STOPFORD, née Bronwen Mary MACDONALD-MILNER, was born on 7 July 1959. Her parents, Lt-Col David Charles MACDONALD-MILNER (born 1931?) and his wife, née Angeline Phillipia GAUSSEN (born 7 V 1936), of that landed gentry family, formerly of Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire, were married on 17 April 1958.

Mrs Stopford is a great-granddaughter of Casamajor William GAUSSEN (3 I 1845 - 14 IV 1923) and his wife (married 2 II 1884), Mabel Constance MILES (c.1855/6 - 30 X 1944), the third daughter of Sir Philip John William MILES, 2nd Bt (2 IX 1825 - 5 VI 1888) and his wife (married 17 X 1848, as her first husband), Frances Elizabeth ROCHE (died 18 XII 1908), daughter of Sir David ROCHE, 1st Bt (19 I 1791 - 8 IV 1865) and his first wife (married 1 II 1825), Frances VANDELEUR (died IX 1841), of that Irish landed gentry family, a great-granddaughter of the suo jure 1st Countess of Longford.
