From the Telegraph of 14 Dec 2024: GODFREY-FAUSSETT Anne Granville (née Murray), died on 29th November 2024, aged 85, in Kelso. Loving wife of Richard, devoted mother of Christopher, Matthew and Islay and much loved grandmother to 6 grandchildren. Family Funeral to be held at the Borders Crematorium, Melrose at 12 noon on 20th December 2024 with a memorial service to be held in the New Year in Barham Parish Church, Canterbury, Kent… No flowers please, but donations if desired, to Dementia UK.

She was d of d of Col Granville MURRAY of Waterside House, Weir, Dumfriesshire (5xgt gs of 3rd Lord CARDROSS 1650-93) and Pamela Margaret Nepean CURLE 1912-52 (gt gd of Sir Evan NEPEAN 1st Bt d 1822, as well 3xgt gd of Lt-Gen Frances LASCELLES 1744-99 bro of 1st Earl of HAREWOOD 1740-1820, as well 7xgt gd of Sir William ST QUINTIN 1st Bt 1579-1649). She m 1962 Capt Richard Hugh 1932-2023 s of Brig Bryan Trevor GODFREY-FAUSSETT CB DSO OBE MC 1896-1970 scion of that gentry family f/o Heppington and Katherine Monica 1899-1987 d of James Harper PATERSON 1858-1933 of Harviestoun House, Midlothian and Katherine TOD c1864-1944, and had two sons and a dau as above.
