From the Times of 5 June 2024: JESSEL Jessica Marian, Lady Jessel (née de Wet) died peacefully on 27th May 2024, aged 91. Lady Jessel was the widow of Edward Herbert, 2nd Baron Jessel. She was d of William DE WET of Somerset East, S Africa. She m 1960 as his second wife (his 1^st was dau of 7^th Marquess of Londonderry) the 2^nd and final Baron JESSEL 1904-90 s of the 1^st Baron JESSEL 1866-1950 and Maud 1874-1965 d of Rt Hon Sir Julian GOLDSMID 3^rd Bt 1838-96 and Virginia 1843-92 d of P PHILIPSON of Florence, Italy.
