Wife of the late Richard, mother to Rupert and Joanna and much loved grandmother. No flowers please. Private cremation followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St Jude's Church, Tilstone Fearnall on Friday 27th September at 12.30 p.m. Donations if desired please for The Injured Jockeys Fund. She was d of Brig Edward Cunliffe COOKE-COLLIS CBE DSO 1902-89 sometime head of that Irish gentry family and Elizabeth Grace 1903-83 d of Rev Canon John Henry HEIGHAM 1870-1952 scion of that gentry family of Hunston by his 3 July 1900 m (Christ Church, Derry Hill, Wilts) to Isabelle Gertrude LYSLEY 1874-1958 scion of that gentry family of Pewsham as well gd of Sir Charles Hugh LOWTHER 3^rd Bt 1803-94, 2xgt gd of 9^th Earl of WESTMORLAND 1728-74, 3xgt gd of 3^rd Duke of GORDON 1720-52, etc etc. She m 1961 Richard Stewart 1930-2009 s of Philip BODDINGTON 1893-1952 scion of that gentry family f/o Pownall Hall and Mary 1891-1983 d of Henry STEWART-BROWN 1863-1947 (2xgt gs of William BROWN 1715-78 who was gf of Sir William BROWN 1^st Bt 1784-1864 (who was gf of Sir Alexander Hargreaves BROWN 1^st Bt 1844-1922 and gt gf of 1^st & only Viscount RUFFSIDE 1879-1958 who was f of the LP Baroness HYLTON-FOSTER DBE 1908-2002)) and Ellen Sophia TIMMIS c1864-1956, and had a son and a dau as above.
