From the Telegraph of 21 June 2022: PIGOT Louise died peacefully at home in Cheshire on June 11th 2022, aged 78. Hugely loved and much missed by all her family. Please contact the family for funeral arrangements.
I take this to be (subject to verification) the dau of Maj-Gen Sir Robert Anthony PIGOT 7th Bt CB OBE RM 1915-86 and (Violet) Amelia Honor 1915-66 d of Capt Wilfred St Martin GIBBON 1892-1918 by his 1915 m reg Q2 Lancs to as her 1st h (her 2nd was Arthur J Morris) Marjorie Isabel FORESTER c1894-. She m 1966 (div ) Peter b c1944 reg Q1 IoW s of Alexander Reginald MELLOR 1906-88 by his 1936 m reg Q4 IoW to Doreen Mary Ada 1914-97 d of John Smythe HARRIS 1879- and Josephine Therese WILLEMAR 1887-1949, and had three daus.
She is the only 'Louise Pigot' I can find on Ancestry as born between 1942 & 1944. The death notice refers to her Cheshire home, whereas DPB2019 gives her address as W. Sussex. People move homes of course.
