From the Telegraph and Times of 24 July 2018: HEADLAM James Nicholas, died peacefully on 17th July. Beloved husband of Jane, father of Fenella, Anthony and Amelia, and proud Papa to 8 grandchildren. Private family funeral. Thanksgiving service to be announced later.
He is s of Maurice Francis HEADLAM CB CMG (1873-1956) and Lady Vera GRIMSTON (1890-1970), d of 3rd Earl of VERULAM (1852-1924) and Margaret Frances GRAHAM (1853-1927, scion of the GRAHAM Bts cr 1783 and the SOMERSET dukes etc etc). He m 1966 Elisabeth Jane (b 1936) d of Sir Peter William Shelley Yorke SCARLETT KCMG KCVO (1905-87, scion of the VALENTIA viscounts) and Elisabeth Dearman BIRCHALL (1905-92), scion of the gentry families HENLEY formerly of Waterperry and WYKEHAM formerly of Tythrop, and had a son and two daus as above.

From the Telegraph and Times of 24 August 2018: HEADLAM Nicholas a Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Tewkesbury Abbey at 2.30pm on 21st September 2018. Any donations in his memory can be sent to Midlands Air Ambulance, Hawthorne House, Dudley Road, Stourbridge, West Midlands.
