The wedding took place at an unspecied date in 2021 at St Giles House, Wimborne St Giles (if memory serves me), seat of the 12th Earl of Shaftesbury, of Maximilian (Max) Marten, who works in sustainable real estate, and Ruth Aylmer, a Lobdon-based jewely designer. The brude was given away by her brother James Aylmer.

Max (b ca 1989) was the heir of Crichel House, home of his grandmother Mary Anna Marten (d 2010) sold with 400 acres to American hedge fund billionaire Richard Chilton. The rest of the property, originally worth about 100 million pounds in 2010, was divided among other heirs, including the five daughters of Mary Anna Marten.
Crichel is neighboring estate to the Shaftesbury family seat and the groom's grandmother Kady Mary Sibell Ashley-Cooper and mother Mary Anna grew up there.

Ruth (also born circa 1989) and Max have known each other since they were six years old and started dating in 2015 when they were both 26. He proposed on safari in Kenya in 2019.
Mary Anna Marten nee Napier was the only child of Napier Sturt, Lord Alington (dspm) by his wife Lady Mary Sibell Ashley-Cooper, daughter of the 9th Earl of Shaftesbury and his Grosvenor wife, sister of the 2nd Duke of Westminster. She was a childhood playmate of Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret. See Crichel Down affair for more on her.
Her only son Napier Marten was a Royal page, and married 1986 Virginie Camu, daughter of Alain Camu and Virginia Crossley, by whom he had four children -
1.Constance Dorothea (b ca 1987, estranged from her family and partnered with American-born Mark Gordon, with ehom she has a newborn. They made the news circa Jan 6 by abandoning their car in a storm and police appeals for the new parents to check in with the NHS).
2. Maximilian "Max" Marten, studied land management, educated at Bryanston. Now married to Ruth Aylmer.

The parents Napier and Virginie apparently divorced after Napier experienced a midlife crisis and went off via Hawaii to find himself in Australia. Virginie may be now married to Guy de Selliers and has further issue Adrian and posdobly a daughter.(Photo 35 of 58 in wedding feature).
All the groom's brothers were in the wedding party.
No information on Ruth who has two brothers James Aylmer and one other. She is Black, by the way. Her mother is Pandora Esprit.
Napier Marten apparently did not attend or chose not to be photographed. The Earl of Shaftesbury was present along with aunts Charlotte Mosley (daughter-in-law of Nicholas, Lord Ravensdale) Victoria McDonaugh, and several cousins including Louis Mosley, Maryanne (?) Clarke, Robert and Hugo McDonaugh etc. Max Marten has five paternal aunts. Both mothers of bride and groom attended the ceremony.

The civil wedding took place early August 2021 at York House in Richmond, and the religious ceremony a week later at St Giles House.
The Vogue feature is dated Februsry 23, 2022.

Married mid to late August 2021 in a civil ceremony at York House, Richmond followed by a religious ceremony at St Giles Hiuse, Wimborne.
Lady Mary Sibell Ashley-Cooper. Other minor typos.
