From the Telegraph of 31 Jan 2025: HUTER JONES Patrick Edward died on 27th January 2025 at home, aged 74. Beloved husband of Julia and devoted father of James, Laura, Lucy and Charlie. Private cremation. Thanksgiving Service at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Aldeburgh, at 2 p.m. on Thursday 27th March 2025. No flowers please but donations to St Elizabeth Hospice, Ipswich would be welcomed.

He was s of Col Hugh HUNTER JONES CBE MC 1915-2006 of Aldburgh, Suffolk by his 1947 m to Sheila Kathleen DICKINSON 1926-99. He had a son (James) and dau (Laura) from a first marriage. He m 2^nd as her 2^nd h Julia Mary b 1954 d of Capt Sir Aubrey ST CLAIR-FORD 6^th Bt 1904-91 and Anne 1917-2008 d of Harold Cecil CHRISTOPHERSON 1889-1959 of Beaulieu, Hants by his 1916 m reg Q3 London to Gladys Mary ROBERTS-BISHOP 1888-1975, and had a further son (Charlie) and dau (Lucy).
