From the Telegraph of 27 Nov 2025: FORBES David Charles died peacefully in Oakland, California on 21st November 2025, aged 66. Much loved as a son, brother, as husband to Peggy and by his children and grandchildren. Celebration of his life at a later date.

He was oldest s of Lt-Cdr William Michael FORBES b 1934 (3xgt gs of 17^th Lord FORBES 1765-1843) and his 1^st w Wendy Ann b 1936 reg Q3 Portsmouth d of Stanley Thomas BIRCH [1909-98] of Southsea by his 1934 m reg Q4 Portsmouth to Lydia May MARSH.
