Buchan-Hepburn Sir Alastair died peacefully, aged 90, in hospital, on Tuesday, 1 February, 2022, surrounded by his family.
Father to Caroline, Sarah, Christopher and Louise.
Graveside funeral on Monday, March 7, in the Western Cemetery, St Andrews, led by All Saints Church.

The "Christopher" referred to in the death notice was his only son, John Christopher Alastair (b. 1963).  He died in 2017.

The baronetcy now passes to the late baronet's grandson (Christopher's older son), John James Christopher Thomas (b. 1992).  His brother, Henry Robert (b. 1997) is the heir presumptive.
