He was s of Thomas Holland SOWLER 1904-84 by his 1940 m reg Q2 Derbys to Dorothy May SHIPSTONE 1910-82. He m 1974 Marion Jane Broome b 1949 d of Brig Henry Lionel Broome SALMON 1919-2016 and Kathleen Iris 1923-2002 d of Capt James Millar BEGG RN 1882-1954 and Phyllis Marion MACKENZIE 1899-1997 (3xgt gd of Sir Lewis MACKENZIE 3^rd Bt 1715-56 of Scatwell), and had two sons and a dau as above.
